Christopher

Christopher was the blacksmith of Trinsic until a day before Ultima VII. His death starts the events of the game. He is the father of Spark.

Christopher's wife died shortly after the birth of their son, Spark. He gave most of his energy into his work, to give his son a good life. He also was a member of the Fellowship, believed in their good. But when Klog showed him what the Fellowship truly did, and ordered him to create the pedestal for the Black Gate, Christopher was horrified. He tried to leave the Fellowship, but Klog saw him as dangerous, and called Hook, who brutally killed him. The Avatar found his body at the beginning of Ultima VII.

In Ultima VII/2, the Avatar spoke with his spirit with the help of Mortegro. Christopher thanked the Avatar for avenging him and helping his son, warning him/her that many nasty spirits wait for him/her on the other side so Avatar should strive to stay alive.
