Gilberto

Gilberto is a guard in Trinsic during the time of the Black Gate, responsible for the night watch at the harbour gate in the east.

He had been on duty when Hook and Forskis had murdered Cristopher, so they had knocked him out from behind, so that they could get to their ship. In Ultima VII, some hours later, the Avatar found Gilberto in the house of the healer Chantu after a hint from the guard Johnson. Gilberto had no real memory of the attackers, since they had attacked him from behind. However, he did remember the ship "Crown Jewel" leaving shortly after the attack, prompting the Avatar to ask Gargan the shipwright about this.

Following these events, Gilberto returned doing the night watch at the east gate, allowing passage once the password was told.
