Katrina

She is a native of Earth, and friend of Lord British. In Britannia Katrina is a Shepherd, and the only survivor when the Daemons under Virtuebane attacked and destroyed old Magincia. In Ultima IV she was still living in the ruins of the destroyed city, but gladly joined the Stranger in his/her quest to find the Codex of Ultimate Wisdom. Later, Magincia was resettled as New Magincia, and Katrina became one of its first citizens.
By Ultima V, she was actively preparing to go into battle against Blackthorn's regime, training to become strong, when the Avatar arrived on the island. She gladly joined him/her on the quest to restore Lord British to power.
In Ultima VI, she still lived on the island, quietly using her time for farming. When the Avatar arrived to find the Rune of Humility, she joined him/her in this quest to restore peace to Britannia. However, while a humble person, she was clearly not the most humble one (that was Conor).
However, 200 years later, by Ultima VII, she had enough of the quiet life of a Shepherd, and wanted some adventure. So she joined the Avatar's party, when he came to New Magincia to speak with Alagner. This also allowed her to help with mysteries of a stolen locket, which she had given to Henry, so that he could impress his love, and three strange men on the island.
In Ultima IX, she still was on the island, but came under the influence of the column. Later she helped in the final fight.

- Katrina is the only of the eight companions, who can ALWAYS be found in the same place: New Magincia.
- Natassia in Cove in Ultima VII looks like her portrait in Ultima VI. Makes you wonder what Katrina's love life had looked like in the 200 years ;).
