Monetari are the standard currency of the city Monitor on the Serpent Isle. Monetari are in many aspects like Gold Coins, but much thicker and therefore a good bit more valuable. It is somewhat difficult to determine the exact value of a Monetari , but a Plate Armour costs 350 Monetari, while ale costs 3 Monetari.

On Serpent Isle, the exchange rates are as follows:

1 Monetar = 2 Gold Coins

1 Monetar = 4 Filari

1 Monetar = 2 Guilders
